I played hooky and went for a drive...
What the Kansas countryside has lost in curvy, twisty roads, it has been given in open spaces where you can see into the next county.
And today I found myself on just such a highway, headed south out of town. The open spaces however are shrinking as civilization continues on its ever expansion. An expansion that seems less civil to the people who earn a living working the land. I needed to head farther out of town. How far? Maybe eight farms as the crow flies. Speaking of crows, I decided to end my drive at the Red Crow brewery. It is amazing how a long drive can clear the head and a cold drink can warm the heart. #PCA #Porsche
